The story
Westfield Old Orchard is an open-air shopping center in Skokie, at Skokie Blvd and Old Orchard Rd east of I-94, with more than 150 retailers. Nordstrom and Macy's anchor it, Bloomie's is the smaller Bloomingdale's format, and the high-end names include Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co. and Tory Burch.
The center is midway through a mixed-use redevelopment. Its newest block is the former Lord & Taylor building, which now holds Arhaus, Zara, Pottery Barn and Puttshack, a 30,000 sq ft indoor mini golf venue. Home stores and activewear are the deepest categories. It suits North Shore and North Side shoppers who want upscale brands, home shopping and a coffee stop in one walkable outdoor center.
What to Expect
Our data doesn't map the center store by store, so plan by cluster. For luxury, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co. and Tory Burch (handbags, shoes and ready-to-wear) are listed together with Bloomie's. For home, the former Lord & Taylor building puts Arhaus and Pottery Barn side by side, and Crate & Barrel (kitchenware, tableware and furniture) and West Elm (modern furniture and decor) are a short walk away. Sur La Table is part of the same home cluster.

Barnes & Noble is back after its earlier store closed in 2021. For kids, the LEGO Store has play tables, and POP MART sells Labubu and other blind-box series. Läderach chocolate makes an easy food gift, and Apple and a Rivian showroom round out the mix.
Best Time to Visit
The center did not post standard hours on the pages we checked, and Westfield notes that store hours vary, so check each store before you go. If you want to start with coffee, Blue Bottle Coffee opened here on Jan. 19, 2026, and there is a Starbucks inside Macy's.
If You Only Have an Hour
Park on the west side off Golf Rd or Old Orchard Rd. Start in the former Lord & Taylor building with Arhaus, Pottery Barn and Zara, then walk over to Crate & Barrel and West Elm. Finish at the LEGO Store's Pick & Build wall or with a coffee at Blue Bottle.
